Since most of that is about urine, yes and no. Do not use it on or near your vegetable plants and expect instant action. I tried a lot less than the site recommended on tomato seedlings and results weren't good. However, I'm into the garden shed frequently and come out with a cup of liquid to add to the compost tumbler. No problem there with the small amounts at each time. Any nitrites can be transformed to nitrates without everything smelling like a bad cat litter box.

My dad used to mark his way down the corn patch, the parts he "marked" did a lot better than the ones he missed!
