Didn't see one yet so figured I'd put one up. I'm in the middle of a project. I acquired another loom. This one is a RARE piece of weaving equipment. It's a Structo Artcraft......(Think those little metal table looms!) But this is a floor loom. It's 45inch, 8harness, 10 treadle. Beautiful wood!!! (cherry?) Just got it Sunday and I have it completely taken apart and working on the restoration. All metal is de-rusted and repainted (except the harnesses). Gonna work on the refinishing this weekend. I'll post pics once I get it back together. Probably link to Weavolution. www.flickr.com/photos/133663168@N04/19169942950/in/dateposted/I finished 6 rugs on the Weavers delight and it's warped up with another 10 yards - but I have someone interested in buying it. I hope that goes thru. (crossing all appendages) I really want to unload this monster. I need room for my new acquisition! Rag Rugs are fine and all, but I really miss using a regular loom.

Still working on spinning some alpaca/llama for a project for my vet. I plan on a cowl/fingerless set for her. It's her animals' fleeces that I'm spinning. Hopefully....this week, we'll get the trampoline set up so I can skirt some corriedale/finn/cvm fleeces. I bought Natalie Redding's wool wash and I'm excited to see if it really works. Since it's finally stopped raining, I can maybe get some fleeces washed and dried.

I am finishing crocheting my first blanket for my granddaughter coming in October. I am also starting a blanket for a friends baby boy born last week. So far it has been a blanket summer for me!

Feels like it's been forever since I've been on this forum.
Right now I'm working on a pair of socks to give to my Dad for his birthday in October. He's allergic to wool, so these are my first ever socks knit with cotton. I have to say it seems more slippery to work with; took me a while to stop dropping stitches, lol. I'm through the heel on the first sock, so hopefully I've got this cotton yarn thing all figured out now.

Yeah I've popped in here and there. Just finished another warp on the WD loom. No sale yet, BUT I did make another 6 rugs. Getting pretty good at this rug making thing. I think I've made 8 or 10 so far. I don't count, I just keep going. ;-) On to another warp! Not sure if it'll work, but here's a link to a flickr photo. I don't really know how to use that. www.flickr.com/camerarollWell I don't know how to connect with flickr. I only opened the account to get into the 'all things structo' group in Yahoo. Anyway, the Structo Floor loom is done and ready to start using. I'm excited to get back to those scarves for the shelters. I have 27 done. Need another 25 or so. This loom is indeed a RARE bird. I can only find ONE other person who has one. A weaver in New Mexico "Cat Brysch". These looms were made from 1937 to 1940. So that makes TWO of us who have these looms. But here's a picture that's popping up in a search for images when you put "structo floor loom" into google. And.......it's MINE! It was the photo from the CL listing. It was all I had at the time so I posted it on Weavolution. www.weavolution.com/taxonomy/term/286I've got other photos of it restored now. It looks beautiful. Turned out great! All ready to start weavin'! 8 shafts! WooHoo~!
