Normally, such a post might be basis for justifiable homicide! I'd want to come down there and kill you for such torture. However, you lucked out as I've got a Polish balcony type that we've been enjoying for almost a week. It is Maskotka (Mascot) and really does have more fruit than leaves. Thus far it's the best-tasting tomato that we've had since last October.
As for the KB, they were beautiful and big for me but far from being the first. I waited forever for those to stop getting bigger and ripen instead. Definitely worth waiting for, as I recall, and perfect size for a BLT.

Just had a second variety and wish that it would have been before Maskotka. Today's was Fourth of July and would have been the best had it been first. Only thing that it has going for it is earliness. Otherwise it's just another salad type needing a lot of Catalina dressing.

I'm growing some Maskotkas for the first time this year. All of which are still green in the field. Like the rest of my field tomatoes. Now the ones in the hoop house are turning the first shades of yellow...I remember eating tomatoes in June when I was a kid, because I'd have my grandma make me BLT sandwiches for my birthday. I'm resigned to no ripe tomatoes on my Oregon farm til sometime in July. Just doesn't seem like summer without those tomatoes, though.

Let the picking begin! I will be waiting a few more weeks yet for tomatoes.

Other than a few ripe cherry varieties, none of the paste or slicers are breaking color here yet... I think over 14" of rain in June may have set us back just a bit. On the bright side, no signs of blight and I haven't had to water the garden since I planted it

I've had maters for about 3 weeks south of Nashville. My wife was eyeballing the first one a few weeks back as it was about a day from being ready to slobber over. Neighbor had given me a nice (8x10) dog kennel to use as a chicken run. After he and I drug it to my coop with the tractor we were walking by the garden and he seen that pretty almost dark red mater hanging and I just had to give it to him. Wife was standing to my left, neighbor to my right. I offered him that mater and she screamed "You can't give him our first" and nearly smacked me. Neighbor laughed and said "Well I think I just gave you a kennel", so I told him he could have it....Told the wife not to fret as there'd be more. She got over it once I fried us up our first bunch of green ones later that eve in bacon grease.

I'm picking ripe cherry tomatoes but I'll be waiting several weeks (or more?) for bigger tomatoes. Lots and lots of little green tomatoes on all the plants, so it's looking like a good tomato year. I'm thrilled to have ripe cherry tomatoes this early in the season - and for up here, any tomato ripening before the 4th of July is an early one. For me, anyway.

Just had our first two ripe ones for noon meal yesterday. Sorry, don't recall what type they are, just red and delish! Your KB looks yummy!
