Especially during hot weather, I need to keep up my water consumption and other things.
I have to watch my coffee consumption and wow do I love coffee. I need to cut back, and I'm having problems with getting to sleep at night so I cut myself off by 6 pm.
Today, coffee with a few tablespoons of a mixture of cocoa, sugar, coconut oil, that is good.
Coffee decaf coffee black tea green tea instant tea w/lemon (iced) crystal light Iced coffee w/mocha, milk, ice
Bone broth (something warm) Chicken base broth watery tomato juice (hot w/slice of butter)
Anyone tried chickory, what is that like? More ideas?

I am enjoying fused-water. It's simple to make...the variety is limitless...it's refreshing, satisfying and makes me feel like a responsible adult. I'm on the sunny-side of 70 yrs...and still prefer things that aren't good for me. You can use fruit, veggies, combinations with herbs. Right now, I have a pitcher of cucumber and lemon in my fridge. Cucumber with mint is good, I think...and I'm finding suggestions of: raspberry-lime...watermelon-rosemary...pineapple-mint...blackberry-sage. I'm not convinced to try all of those...but as soon as I buy fresh pineapple, I will try that with lime. gourmet.lovetoknow.com/Fresh_Fruit_Infused_Water

Fresh fruit and unsweetened lemonade, very thirst quenching. I am using berries in season, strawberry, raspberry, and now blackberry. Will do peach and pear. Then apple cider time, cold while hot, hot when it gets cold this fall....James

I love infused water as well! A couple years ago we were at one of dh's business meetings and the hotel we stayed at had several coolers of infused water in the lobby. Off the top of my head, I remember cucumber, lime, strawberry and orange infused waters - at least one of them had mint as well. And I seem to remember one that had basil along with the fruit. I'm sure there were other varieties. I think I need to make a big jar of infused water as soon as I get done here.
