Ya, I know it is Sunday but yesterday checked the grape vines and they are falling off quite rapidly. Canned up 8 1/2pts. of grape jelly. I use surejell and the package that I bought had no instructions with it. Lost all my recipes last year in the fire so got on the internet and found the old tried and true surejell recipie. Turned out great. Maybe will try another batch if I get into town to get more surejell before all the grapes fall off. Jean

That sounds yummy! Did you ever get more canned up? I've never made grape jelly myself. What did you do?

We make some jelly but can a lot of grapes. We have a stove top juicer, make juice, fill the jars with washed grapes, add grape juice and pressure can. We can make more jelly as needed. We have the grapes to use and juice to make jelly or to drink. We also dry grapes for raisins, juice for fruit leather....James

Seedless Concords, Red magic and Thompson seedless. We also have another green grape, seedless but some have 1 seed and the skin is tough and tart, makes great juice and jelly. Great to eat right off the vine but you need to spit the seed and skin. We have a seedless pink wine variety, forget the variety, makes the best raisins and to eat fresh, very sweet....James
