I paid for a spinning class on Craftsy. com. It's Jacy Fulkner's class on spinning and plying. She teaches the different drafting methods, what to do, why to do it and what you do with the yarn. It's really a great class. I now know why I don't get consistent yarn. I was using the drafting method least likely to get what I wanted - backwards short draw.... Sigh....I wish I'd taken it before I spun 1000 yds of 3 ply I'd hoped to make my winter coat out of.
Have you taken a class online that you particularly like?

Good information! I have not taken a craftsy.com class but may in the near future. Thanks for the review! So what drafting method gives the most consistent results?

Short forward draw...amazingly...but it always depends on the spinner. Or, perhaps the spin from the fold if it's a long wool.
