Taco shells
INGREDIENTS 1 cup flour 1⁄2 cup yellow enriched cornmeal 1⁄4 teaspoon salt 1 1⁄2 cups water 1 egg
DIRECTIONS Preheat a dry skillet over medium/high heat. Mix the ingredients well. The batter will be runny. Using LARGE spoon, drop into skillet, quickly spreading the batter in a circular motion, working from the inside out. Cook 1 minute turn, cook 1 more minute. Do not brown. Remove and put on plate, add fixin's Mold into shape with hands before it gets brittle. Enjoy
I grind my own sweet corn meal, Cut corn off cob, run through meat grinder twice. Dry in dehydrator for 12 hours at 125, not hard, run through grinder again. I do not store for more than 3 days. After corn dries, or dry corn kernals, I grind with a grain grinder into fine flour....James
