I pulled off the first sweet potato slips a couple of days ago. I hope to have several more of these before the end of May. Out in the garden, the radishes are coming up. I built another bed this spring. I have a clove of garlic planted in each of the holes of the blocks. Don't look at how crooked the blocks are. I was getting tired of digging to get them leveled.

I like the idea of using the holes in the block.

That bed looks ready to go. I don't have anything planted out yet. The weather was really nice today. I can't wait to get my hands in the dirt.

Here is the beginning of mine. It's rough but I'm experimenting. It got dark before I got finished working but I could still see by my security light so I kept working until I finished. It looks better in some spots now than it does in the second picture. It was a great evening. Wind blew just enough to keep the mosquitoes away. It was lighting in the distance every once in a while. It was nice. Bags and bags of leaves. Some one else raked and bagged them thank goodness. Garlic Mulching with the leaves and that's my dog Dixie.

Looks like you are off to a good start, mocrafter.
Tambo- those are the very BEST kinds of leaves to use!
