I found a free online series that you can either applique or embroider. If you look at the title bar across the top and put your curser over "Free BOMs" you'll get a drop down menu with links to each of the nine blocks and the finishing instructions for the series. I don't know how long this series will be available so you might want to make a file for it on your computer and save it.

Since Sunbonnet Sue is so popular, I thought whenever any of us find free Sue patterns online, we could post links in this thread to share them.

You have to register to access the patterns on this Free Patterns website but they have some really sweet Sue patterns. They're scattered through the site under different headings but you can start by looking in the Children's Corner or do a search. www.freepatterns.com/detail.html?code=FQ00157&cat_id=435

Thanks for this, calicokatie1. Always good to have links to patterns. Sue went out of fashion for a while there, but I see she's coming back again. I didn't make her up in the past, but I can see myself doing so now. :-)

calicokatie1, @kiwifarmgal, Thank you! Sunbonnet Sue has got to be my all time favorite.

If we start getting enough interest in quilting built back up, maybe we could do a Sunbonnet Sue swap down the road. Those are always fun to do.
