We just received our latest issue of Wisconsin Outdoor News, a statewide hunting, fishing, sport newspaper, April 1, 2016. While it will not let me link to the FULL PAGE ARTICLE ON your Sun Prairie garden issue with the rabbit, you are all of PAGE 15, in the article entitled:
SUN PRAIRIE MAN CITED IN RABBIT INCIDENT, by Lee Kernen. He is clearly upset with how you were treated and the story is excellent.
Nice picture too!
Just wanted to give you a shout out! SG

I have read the article on the Sun Prairie site. paquebot, Hooray! paquebot, and mzgarden, I could not find a way to link it nor even find it on the newspaper's website. It may be that current articles are not available so people BUY the newspaper. Martin, when my sweet DH reads it (just came yesterday) I will mail to you the whole paper. I have your address. SG

solargeek,I have a copy of the paper. The reporter dropped one off as soon as it was printed. He only lives a few miles from here. I think that he's almost on the border of Deforest or Sun Prairie address. Martin

Couldn't we, your loyal supporters, get a few lines of that article, just a bit of it? There is no begging emoticon!

It was first in the Star which is a local paper. Wisconsin Outdoors News saw it and sent a reporter to ask me if it were OK for them to also do a story on it. That's the latest which this thread is about. That paper has statewide and Midwest readership so the molehill continues to grow.

Good job, Martin! I would say continue the fight unless it causes undue stress. At that point I would let it go, it is not worth raising your blood pressure :-)
