When I had 100lb dogs, other dogs looked like puny useless things. Now I have a Corgi, and long-legged dogs look deformed, as though someone drew out their legs like hot molten glass.
Some people look at Kebab and say, he's so skinny, because they are used to barrel-torsoed older Corgis with indulgent owners.
For that matter, a lot of dogs are so fat that you can't feel their ribs at all. But maybe that's because pet food is made from industrial swill, and maybe they are getting even more concentrated growth hormones and fertilizers than we are.

Yep, it's all what you are used to seeing. I for one am glad your little Kebab isn't round and barrel chested. That's not correct for the breed or healthy!

Yes, I agree! I am a mixed bag though, I have a few large breeds, a very small breed, and my beloved Bulldog just passed, she was in the middle of them all. I judged everything by her though, she was "just the right size", and I think the others look a tad out of place with out her balancing the group out.
