Pending home sales up 5.1 pct, highest level in a decade

Pending home sales in the Northeast climbed 1.2 percent for the month and are 10.1 percent above a year ago. Pending home sales in the South jumped 6.8 percent monthly and are 5.1 percent higher than last April.
