Went to our Cabin mainly to get some tools we needed but mowed the grass.
We got a 300 gallon Water Tank. Got some 33 Gallon Plastic Barrels, strapped couple in back of the Pickup, went to Community Well and filled them. Took them back to the Cabin. Fixed up a Bilge Pump, run off a Battery, ran my water from the Barrels into the Tank.

You getting ready to go to the doghouse BRP? Only 4 or 5 trips and that tank will be full.

How do you keep the algae down in the tank, I have some rain barrels and algae just keeps growing even though they are dark blue colored. Fine to use on my gardens but I wouldn't want to use it for drinking or bathing water.

all my water containers are black. and if it is not raining, it has a lid on it. so far no algae grows in them smallest one is 1000 gallon, it does the collection, and I pump water to the others from there the water is filtered through a ceramic water filter before it gets used for drinking been in use for a few years and all seems to work well
