Ok I have a few hundred worms. Around here the easiest to catch and I like to eat is Trout, Catfish and Suckers. Could spend extra time catching other varieties but why?
Had Suckers cooked up the other day my Son ate his share. He said good as they are why would anyone want to catch any other?

Rock; how did you cook the suckers? I see some big ones around here; people catch them and throw them up on the bank for the buzzards. Buffalo I've dealt with, and I know people who treat big carp like canned salmon.

Make sure you get Corn Meal between each score. Deep Fry in HOT oil.
Around here Suckers are Gigged from September 15- January 30 at night until Midnight. Mostly I catch them with worms during warm weather. Don't have a Boat fixed up for Gigging and if I did I can't find anyone to go out when it's down around zero middle of the night on the river. Had 4 Guys die last day of Gigging Season couple years ago right where I like fishing.

Thanks, Rock; I can see how that would work fine.
No cold water gigging for me, thank you. I like living and falling out of a boat in freezing weather is almost sure death for an old man.
