Tall pines, thank you for the warning. I had planned to sleep but the idea of sleeping is surpassed by the towns that have been destroyed at night, while so irregular and not usual, it's happened and now I'll be waiting for this storm to pass.

I was watching the news last night and saw the tornado warning. Hope you all made it through okay! We're north of the warned area, and just got rain - less than half an inch.

susannah, do you recall where the tornado warning was at? Approximately? I didn't have the tv on all night. We are in SE Wisconsin.

susannah , do you recall where the tornado warning was at? Approximately? I didn't have the tv on all night. We are in SE Wisconsin. Pretty sure it was Trempeleau County that was under the tornado warning. West central Wisconsin, so quite a bit west (and north) of where you are.

Everybody okay this morning?
That storm came down my way, first as flashes of silent lightning and then blasting winds, at about 2am. We only lost a few tree branches, thanks be to God. Nobody hurt, no serious damage. I have to say though, it scared me to have such bad weather so soon after the tornado that hit here. I've had it with loss.

When I was getting ready to go to bed, there had been a 10% chance of precipitation. Suddenly Weatherbug and MSN both showed a warning. Wife was watching TV and also there. Checked the radar and lots of heavy stuff in north half of the state so I wasn't too concerned. Went to bed and just dozing off when bright flash of lightning followed closely by a huge thunderclap announced that it wasn't just the north half but south as well. (It would have been the same that flew by Feather.) Wasn't enough concern for me to get up as nothing that could be damaged by just rain. Note that there must have been strong NW winds at the field garden as a lot of stuff leaning to the SE this morning. Did appreciate the ½" of rain that accompanied it and not bad for only a 10% chance.

Tallpines , Hope all is okay with you this am? Storm split before getting to us. Some going to the north, most going to the south. Weird, huh? Just a little rain .... Could have used more ..... Glad to hear all is okay, sorry about you not getting enough rain, we have another storm heading at us RIGHT NOW, we received 4" of rain over the weekend and looks like we will be receiving more, I would share if I could
