We are fixing up a house and are now ready to get a kitchen countertop. Leaning toward engineered quartz. However, yesterday I discovered Glassos. It is the brand name of nano crystalized glass. Made from 75% silica and 75% natural minerals. I know it is made in China, but from the reviews I read, I probably want to steer clear of the Chinese brands.
Has anyone ever used this? It is sold as countertops, tile, and floors. It is white. I’m not keen on white, but it would work in my kitchen.

Silica (Silicone Dioxide) is "natural", being the one of the most common compounds on the planet, and is most often in the form of sandSo that means your product is 150% "natural" It's pretty much finely powdered rock en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silica

Yes, I’ve read that it is recyclable. I’d like to know what it costs so I now if it is a feasible solution.

The available colors seem pretty limited.
