Ok our Cabin at the Lake has no Well or Sewer Holding Take.
There is another place coming up for Auction for Back Taxes that has Well and Sewer Tank and a camp Trailer.
We're thinking we can get this place for a few hundred dollars, sell the Camper off build a Cabin and sell our other Cabin. My wife is talking about possibly selling our Home Place here and moving up there.

Rockpile if you want to live on the lake full time well and septic system would sure make things easier.

Sounds like a great plan to me! I'd love to live on the lake. Selling the camper, and your current spot sound like a good way to start paying for it too.

We have considered putting a Well and Sewer Tank where Our present Cabin is. This will cost us at least $12K. I figure it will cost at least this much to build another Cabin.
There is Acreage coming up also somewhere in the county but we figure who ever holds the Mortgage is going to bid on this.

Living on a lake sounds so dreamy and looks so swoon-worthy in all the movies. Any of the lakes we have been to though are plagued by tons and tons of mosquitoes and depending on the size- seagulls. I mean a lake is pretty much just a large body of stagnant water right? How do you combat the armies of mosquitoes 24/7? Or would that not bother you?

Well this Lake is 55 K acres and 55 K acres of Hunting Land. Found out if we got this other place it would be a year before we could do anything so leave things the way they are. rockpile

@rockpile, wow that's a lot of land, especially if you mean 55K as in 55 thousand acres. Still a lot if it's just 110 acres altogether.

Plus there is another Lake close to it with more hunting land. 10 miles from the cabin is tailrace below the Dam which is good fishing. Miles up from the Dam is like a big park. Actually it is the best Lake in the state. rockpile

It is only when the purchase price is paid that the legal title automatically passes from the seller to the borrower or subsequent assignee. Further, since a borrower that is holding property subject to a vendor’s lien can convey or transfer only such right as he may have in the property, every subsequent purchaser with actual or constructive notice of the lien takes subject to the superior legal title which remains in the seller for the benefit of the lender-assignee under its express vendor’s lien. www.msyalaw.com/Upload/Alerts/0cfd3282-0c95-480d-9e05-0f64f664e469_Apr%2009,%202010%20-%20Importance%20of%20Lender-Counsels%20Review%20of%20Deed.pdf
