I bring up a Google map that takes up my full screen. But when I try to print the map it reduces down to about 1/4 of a letter size sheet. Changing scale to 150% or 200% does not change the size of the map.
Any idea how to print a larger map? My little printer does not enlarge.

I think that it might depend on which web browser you use. We use Firefox at work. When I pull up a Google map, I go to the upper right of the browser window, click on the three horizontal lines, hit the print option, that opens a window in which I can see page previews. There are usually three pages, with the map part on the second page, so I tell the computer to only print page 2.
With some web browsers, I've given up and done a screen capture of the map and then used graphics software to crop it down to what I needed, but that's more fun than it needs to be.

BI, I recall having the same problem before I just quit fooling with it. So I did a search and this is what I came up with...seems to address the problem. Good Luck.
To be able to print high-quality Google maps images, you can use the existing tools you have. Here’s how they say to do it: Take a screen shot of the map, but before doing so — and this is important — Zoom into the Google Maps. You’d be surprised to know that many users never zoom in before printing the map. It’s important, and if you don’t do that the Google Maps will look small and barely visible on printing paper. So that’s about it. You have now successfully printed Google maps on paper.
(As per my google search)

I clicked on the ... at top right and was able to print a map about twice as large as the original print.

Don't know if this applies to you or not, but for awhile I was printing google maps and directions by hitting control P - and they were so tiny as to be unreadable. Increasing zoom did not help. When I went back to clicking on the printer icon the prints increased in size and were legible.

I get the map the size I want it, then open "Snipping Tool" program. I select the section I want and paste it in Word where I manipulate however I want.

I do this just like Bret says. I can add text at top or bottom of the pasted image. Paul fusses that I print out too much stuff like maps or directions, but at least we get where we are going on the first try. Never argue with your navigator, especially if she's driving.

There is an option to choose one of three font sizes. Usually shows up left column in a list of other things like, "map only", "no ads", etc. It might be that you need to save the map to your computer and then print. I don't know how to do that, since I haven't had this problem with mapquest, but have with other pages sometimes.
