I am thinking of painting my concrete driveway to hide years of patching and repairs. But what type of paint would holdup and not wear off? I fear if I paint it once I may need to repaint it every couple years.

I am going to guess that it is going to be tough to find a paint that is going to last long outside.
I would venture to say that one of the big problems is that the concrete driveway is going to want to sweat, even a little, and will break the adhesion between the paint and the concrete...but that is a SWAG.

Even if the paint did adhere, the painted driveway would be slippery as all getouts after a rain.
