What is it with the ladies catching these big gators? They have to snag or hook them and reel them to the boat before the gator is dispatched prior to getting them on board. Pretty tough cookies I'd say.
Tiffany Wienke of Bicksburg, Mississippi caught a 13 foot, 7 7/8 inch long alligator, the longest on record in Mississippi on Aug. 27, 2016. The gator weighed 686 lbs.
Back in 2014...Mandy Stokes of Camden Alabama caught a record gator that weighed 1012 lbs and was 15 ft long.

I remember one episode of Swamp People when a huge gator was caught and much of the tail had been bit off. One could only imagine the size of one that did that.
