Anyone do anything dif with orange peels. Not candied or potpourri.

Dehyrate the orange part for a spice. But if not organic oranges, I scrub with a stiff brush to get the coatings off first before drying. It's a nice addition to a meat rub.

Add it to a bottle of vinegar for a citrus scented cleaner.

If you have a spare pepper grinder, dry the orange/lemon/lime zest and grind it with the pepper grinder into dishes that you like a little citrus added to...like chicken soup, as mentioned above a meat rub, or a curry, a cheese cake, cookies, quick breads. It's handy to have around. I put a little orange zest in my tea, it makes all the difference.
