I know its unlikely anybody knows this off hand, but how many bolts hold the assembly to the wall of the cab? Its so claustrophobic under the dash area that I am having hard time making out more than couple of the bolts. Figure there are at least four, but for all I know might be three, might be five or six.
I need to remove the parking brake assembly (it can just flop down onto floor dont need to disconnect cable), so I can remove the clutch pedal which is on end of a shaft. Just enough clearance once the parking brake pedal is out of way.

Really nice warm sunny day. So answer to my own question, there are three bolts.
First bolt is near firewall, out in open, easy to get 10mm socket on it.
Second bolt is up high under dash hidden behind stiff bundle of electric wires. Impossible to get socket on it, had to use an open end wrench and fight it all the way out, quarter of a turn at a time. If at all possible that one isnt going to get reinstalled.
Third bolt behind some brace that was just hanging there loose, but blocking access to the bolt, so assume somebody has had some of this apart before. Brace cant be pushed up nor down, the brake release lever was holding it in place. I had to grind off the rivet holding release lever. Once that was out of way, the brace just fell to the cab floor. Bolt was kinda loose too, came right out. I assume bottom end of brace was originally held by that bolt. Somebody had brace off for some reason and never reinstalled it, though why they left it hanging there???
Still no idea what that brace was for. Probably thats it for working on Ranger today, have some other chores to get done. Days are still pretty short.
Next trick is to remove clutch pedal-arm and do some welding on it, so rod to clutch master cylinder is more level. I ever get few nice warm days and can finish this up. Its just clutch linkage at this point. Though adapting that Jeep slave cylinder going to be a challenge as I have to make it act like a pull type slave though its a push type slave.
