Never been a fan of ground turkey till my niece made this for me. If you like it spicy use the hot chili seasoning.
Brandy’s Turkey Chili
2-3 lbs Turkey can use Beef 1 Medium/Large Onion (diced)
3 large cans Chili Beans 2 large cans diced Tomatoes 2 packs McCormick’s Mild Chili Seasoning 1-3 T Chili Powder adjust for how hot you want it.
Brown turkey and onions. Add beans, tomatoes, McCormick’s mixes and chili powder. Stir all together and simmer 30 minutes.
Makes a large pot.

I make almost this exact recipe in my crockpot. After browning the turkey, I throw it in the crockpot with the cans of beans and tomatoes, seasonings and a bag of frozen peppers and onions. Cook on low for 5-6 hours and it is a nice meal that even my picky kids eat.

I use a lot of ground turkey for things most would use ground beef for. Not only is it healthier, but Hubs can't have a lot of beef, and I can't eat a lot of pork. The best chili I have ever made, though, was elk chili. Yummmmmmmmmm

Love to try this even if I did use beef. I can't seem to make a consistent pot of chili to save my soul. Either to thick or too thin. Never tastes the same. Variety is the spice....I guess.
