My fridge is full! Does anyone want to share some frozen homemade yogurt recipes? Techniques? Favorites? I've never made it before.

Do you have milk to start with or yogurt? Have you got an ice cream maker? Pretty simple to make frozen yogurt once you have the yogurt, just sweeten it to taste and freeze it while it's getting stirred. If you need to make the yogurt first you'll heat 1 qt milk to 180F, cool to 115F, add around 3tbs yogurt as starter, and insulate it to stay over 110 for at least 5 hours up to 12, then refrigerate.

I have fresh yogurt. I never thought of using the ice cream maker, duh. That's what I love about this place! Thanks!

Update- I hauled the ice cream maker out of the basement and the recipe book was still in it (that was a wonder in itself!) I had a quart of sugar packed peaches in the freezer and added a quart of my thick yogurt, a hefty dash of vanilla and a little salt. Half an hour later I had the best frozen peach yogurt I have ever eaten-ever. Mmmm. There's plenty leftover stored in the freezer for the upcoming hot summer. Thanks again for the suggestion!
