I'm in the market for a good lamp to use by my sewing machine. I'm hoping to find something that casts a wider light so that I can use it on my work (craft) table as well. I use that table for cutting fabric and a variety of other crafts. I'm currently using a regular small table lamp by my machine and don't really have anything for my work table except for natural light during the day and room lamps at night.
Any suggestions?

Why don't you try a stand up lamp? Got one from Amazon that has 2 light fixtures on it. Son usually has it on high, but could also use both at the same time. It wasn't expensive, can't remember exactly how much. It's really very good.

I still love my Ott lamps...I have fold outs, table top and floor models.

I love Ott lamps as well. There is something about the bright white light that works so well for my eyes. For the crafting that I do I need to have the colors show true and these lights and their bulbs really work for me. Love them!

I have an Ott light that I love, have had it for years. It was pricey but bought on sale...worth the money. It's a floor lamp.
