I don't believe that weather fluctuations are caused by man. I believe the "global warming/climate change" camp's primary motivation is control over people and money. Weather fluctuations have occurred LONG before humans were as industralized as we are now.
HOWEVER
I DO believe that humans all too often take a lazy/"who cares" approach to the environment. Humans DO pollute the air, the soil and water. To that degree, I'm more concerned about the impacts of GI-NORMOUS agriculture and manufacturing.

Oh wow, cool article!
Thing is, I'll bet people in 1540 were blaming the drought on God's punishment for their 'sinfulness.' (I suspect the global warming panic is a secular version of this traditional form of hysteria.)

I call it Global Chaos. The weather has always been unpredictable. I am not sure we impact it in any significant way. I do agree that pollution is awful just because we have to breathe the air and eat the food that is grown in the soil. We need to cut pollution for many reasons-not just potential global warming.

Best way to reduce pollution is to reduce the population. Best way to increase pollution is to increase the population.

I heard it yesterday that it was so hot in Texas now, a Robin was seen using a pot holder to pull a worm from the ground.

Robins only winter in Texas. Were there any here now, there worms would all be well-done.
