Yay! Did you get them from Cackle?
We are brooding 20 meat birds, a dozen Cinnamon Queen layers, 5 Gold-Lace Polish, and a couple of turkey poults from their one day sale a few weeks back. I really like their stock.
What did you get?

i prdered these from Mcmurray back in january, cackle said i had to buy at least 5 of each kind-even if i picked them up. here, i got to pick, thats why i waited, to get just what i wanted. i orderedBantams--3 buff cochins--3 gold cochins, 2 millie fleaur, 3 buff silkie, 4 araucana, 3 silver seabright, 3 quail antwerp--and in reding this off the lid, i realized they substituded the partridge rock1 Neverless, they shipped monday morning--and didnt get here untill today-wednesday. i tried to prepare myself for dead chicks.. these little guys!!! to start with, i ordered 21--i have 33--everyone alive and chirping. i spent 2 hours, dipping beaks and pecking paper. poor fellas--they would sit to rest--and find themselves snatched up and their bill stuck in the water. I am having trouble regulating heat--they are in my sun room, with a infared light. too hot--so i moved the light--then i moved the cage--then i turned on a fan (cant reach them) think i have hit a happy medium, no chirping. I have a couple with so many toes they are spraddle legged, worried a bit there--and one teeny tiny one i've babied all day--it jumped up and pecked another--so its on its way. More than you wanted to know! as you can tell, i'm excited--they are my treat to myself for my 80 th birthday in a few weeks!!

You will love hearing about the one chirping yesterday then, i stepped up to the cage, and he was jumping up to try and see me--i picked it up--it chee-cheed awhile, and was perfectly happy when i set it down .. little guy is still alive, but has a set back from yesterday afternoon, acts like it chilled last night. one is still on sprawled legs, but going strong--i am amazed at the health of these babies. what in the world am i going to do--after getting so attached to each and every one---15+bantam roosters? ??

Oh, dear! So many roos!
I'm sure you'll find a way to keep them all. Perhaps train them for show business: Ceresone's All Roo Review?

almost afraid to say--but i saw the silkie stand up today-- i heard loud chirping coming from their pen---one little chick had a lightening bug that had--somehow-fell into the pen--it was running around with the bug in its bill, being chased by the others!!!
