Pickled Jalapenos makes 1 quart
24 average sized jalapenos, sliced with seeds and interior
In a pot on the stove. Add: 1 cup water 1 cup vinegar 4 T. sugar 2 T. salt 4 cloves of garlic, sliced
As you are bringing the pot to a boil, add the sliced peppers. Heat for about 10 minutes. The liquid level will go up and the peppers will go from vibrant green to army green. Cool and store in a 1 quart jar in the refrigerator.
These will last a long time and when we run out, we make more.
