All of a sudden I wanted some kind of light weight Christmassy scarf/muffler. No time to knit/crochet so I was out yesterday anyway, and looking for a deal.
Here's what I did -- found a pair of boys size 8 pajama bottoms - missing the top - for next to nothing. Green and red plaid. Brought them home, cut off the legs, matched the plaid and sewed the two legs together - tada scarf in lightweight flannel. Carefully cut off the waistband and tada again - a matching headband.
Now at the party tonight, I'm going to be 'lookin smart' wearing kids pajama legs wrapped around my neck and wearing the waistband on my head. Yep, I'll be giggling all evening.

Well, ya' know, those fleece mufflers are just a length of fabric with slits cut to imitate fringe Your jammies sound just fine! Hoorah for repurposing
