Apparently the foxes got 23 of my 71 chicks... they have been shut in their house since then and have no desire to get out. One fell out the door this morning and panicked being outside. She safely made her way back in. I am going to sell coop and chickens.

Selling because of foxes mainly. I locked the door last night and the handle was not turned this morning.. I do not know how many there are but I know they are out there day and night. It is more difficult for me to do the chores yes and I have 8 months ahead of me for the bone to regrow around the pin. I love creatures and I have spent so much time with them. Some of them would make excellent pets.

Sad for you though. It is a process for animals to recoverfrom that kind of assault. It was two years for my goats to be able to re enter the shed when the dog attack occurred and I don't think that are thoroughly over it yet.
I hope you recover fast.
