I found a deal on a large can (97 oz) of evaporated milk and trying to decide the best way to preserve it. I think it would freeze okay (in small portions) but would rather can it to save space in my freezer. Has anyone ever tried re-canning evaporated milk or do you think it would work? I'd like have 8 oz jars on hand.kjkj

I'd also like to know how it works out. Sometimes, the "dinged and reduced" grocery store has BIG cans of stuff, so I'd like to know if milk re-cans well.
