I've always wanted to have a dog i could do this with...Muttley just shakes and gobbles the biscuit as it hits the floor. Silly dog. And he does know the word "biscuit", lol!

Used to be a family thing for our dogs to balance a biscuit on the end of their nose then flip it into the air and catch it. We called it dog torture. Had one beagle so quick she didn't toss it at all, she sort of slid out from under it and caught before it fell.

I couldn't have taught her this before she learned "Stay" and "OK". She was very headstrong with me in particular until she was taught this command. It also made a big difference when she learned I was the one to enter/exit a room/front door, etc., before her and then giving her the ok. She is the first big dog I have owned. What a learning experience it has been! I hope to just play around with tracking exercises with her. Last summer hubby was cutting wood quite a ways deep into the woods. Just for fun I said "Go find Daddy!". I couldn't believe it when she took me right to the spot! Really cool. BTW, her father was a retired german shepherd police dog who knocked up a hound... I do enjoy her so...
