I pressure boiled the meat - 6 lbs but I have 1.5 left over- to get rid of all grease. Drained and cooled - the meat was great and NO wasting time browning it.
I used 9" circle aluminum pans as most of these are going to elderly or sick people who are unlikely to return my glass pans. Never did that before. To fit them with the noodles, I soaked the noodles in very hot water and cut to fit. Puttsy (family word for necessary but time consuming) but it worked.
Yesterday I used the same power pressure cooker do to make my individual quarts -they took 4- into a really tasty sauce with shredded Brussels sprout leaves I had frozen last year. Adds fiber in a sneaky tasty way.
They turned out well. Took a long time (5 was a lot for me).
