I enjoy looking at weather forecasts. Just as I enjoy fairytales or buying a lottery ticket. In a weather forecast, my glass is 10%, 20%, 30%, and sometimes even more full. I can enjoy that rain right up until the day of the forecast rain. Then, like on the day of the drawing, I am disappointed. But a couple of days after my disappointment, being an eternal hoper, I am back looking at another forecast and enjoying it. Weather forecasts are a lot like lotteries, they sell dreams.

I hope our forecast is wrong for the next 36 hours. I am escorting WW2, Korea, and VN vets in three different parades starting tonight at 7PM. The forecast is for thunderstorms during all three parades.

Be real happy to take the thunder storms off your hands.

Waiting for rain in Texas is like wondering when a woman will have a baby but you don't even know if she is pregnant.
