When making larger quilts, what size do you make? Not runners or baby quilts. Just curious.

I thought this might help you decide. We usually have queen sized beds, so that is the size I would make. If you look at this chart you can see that a quilt made for a queen bed can be used on a king sized bed or a double bed. It will just have more or less inches of drop, on the sides and bottom. If you tuck in a pillow, you might want the 10 inch 'tuck'. From: www.moonlightquilters.org/tip-quick-quilt-sizes/

If the person or people sleeping under the quilt are large, you might want to go to the next size up.

I like them big because I like plenty hanging over the edge. I do mostly queen and king.

I do mostly king and queen. I, too, like to have the drape. (And Hubs is a cover hog!)
