How sweet that pic is....Precious looks like she's fighting to keep her eyes open..she's really a pretty cat Mari, she looks so soft! Thanks for your kind words! And you are indeed correct - she was about to fall asleep and I was saying her name since I wanted to get that pic of them together - with her eyes "sorta" open. We think she's gorgeous - don't most parents think that of their children? All of our indoor cats are really healthy with shiny coats that are ohhh sooo soft. We think it has a lot to do with what we are feeding them. Take care, ~Mari

She's so spoiled I can smell her from here lol.. All my cats have been strays/shelter adoption. I've been feeding a stray (male) since mid-summer. Got him fattened up for the winter with a custom built shelter - which he has at least used. Plan is to trap and get him neutered. THEN see he can be indoor or indoor/outdoor - hoping his spraying "habit" can be "cured" with neutering. The other cats, which we think were his siblings were not in good health. PTS, which is sad but was the right thing to do.
And yes, what you feed your pets has a lot to do with their coats and general health. Plus with cats, higher quality food = less quantity of litter box scooping. She's quite the nice looking cat.

Thank you christie and mzgarden for your kind words... earlier today she was curled up and nursing on that tail beside Junior - our eldest cat. He is turning into skin and bones - he is about 14 now. I dare say I think he may be on his way out but we just continue to love on him and he seems happy in regards to that. He is the only cat that Precious will put up with. Take care, ~Mari

Take care, ~Mari Mari, has Junior's thyroid been checked? Porky, age 19-ish, has gained weight and her heart rate is better now that her med is balanced.
