My daughter got an after-school/summer job at McDonalds. She comes home at night and tells stories of the intersection of life that she is observing. Today's headliner was that she was called the 'B'-word because a customer was irate with her that Shamrock Shakes (tm) were no longer available.
Rather than hang curl up in the corner in the fetal position, my mind drifted. I thought to myself as she continued to other sad tales. "Man, the clover is great right now, but my cows sure are loose. I wonder if the inventor of the Shamrock Shake was a cattle rancher?"....

I don't know whether to laugh or sigh...
Aw, heck, I'm going with the laugh. LOL!! Thank goodness I don't (and never did) drink Shamrock Shakes. Heck, when I had a high school gig at McD's, I didn't drink the shakes. They're all air.

There is a reason I go to the barn right after work.

My friends husband has a problem with shamrock shakes. Its not his cows that get loose.
He has problems at taco places too.

the issue there is that people that go to McDonalds are looking for the lowest possible price, don't loose hope in people altogether when only seeing the ones that are a small sub group of humanity you might want to suggest to her to get a job at a place that has another subset of humanity visiting it

Hey Abe, hows that girl of yours doing now? I stay out of life as much as possible, at least the life where those McD' kinds of people might lurk! Calling someone a B**** because a shake is no longer available? Seriously don't want to collide with that person any time soon, I might be in jail afterwards:-)
