I planted mako and utah yellow onion seeds today in 3 flats. They stays at the south patio window with southern exposure in the family room, on top of plastic over the carpet. There is a ceiling fan for air flow. They should be ready in May sometime.
Dh wants to grow seeds. So I guess we might do that too.

Planted mine last week, onion and leeks, pots, outside under plastic as Martin does his. Spring will come.
More, granex, in the shop yesterday in a sunny window along with tomato, peppers, half a dozen others.

conservatvhippy, nice planting setup! Our first onion recruits have popped up in all three trays at 10 days. We welcomed them with "Welcome welcome welcome, may the odds be ever in your favor." DH said they came up of course because he gave them a pep talk last night. I don't know how I missed that.
