It's been a while since we had peaches...both new trees covered in peaches. They are still green and I'm wondering if they will be ripe by frost? We are in Colorado and our weather has been crazy warm this year. Any ideas/experiences with such a thing?

Ours were terrible this year, zero canned, very small and not a sweet peach at all.. had a lot of fruits. . I'm blaming the rain and hot temperature. .apples, and pears were okay but not over producer

I live in Texas, I had the best.harvest of peaches I have ever had this year. They were the largest and darkest color. They were very tasty. After the harvest I noticed several small peaches on the lower branches that were yellow. I kep feeling them to see if they were getting ripe. When one dropp to the ground I picked it up and took it inside where I cut it open and tasted it, expecting it not to taste good, but it was very tasty. They never grew larger or turn the dark reddish color but I did eat them. I had never had that to happen before.
I have been harvesting the leaves and dehydrating them, then making a powder out of them, putting the powder in cleaned amber glass vitamin bottles to put in my herb collection.
