The kids room!! Well it's the spare, but I call it the kids room. Painting the ceiling blue w/ clouds. The light fixture will go (not sure how w/o frying myself, lol) and will be replaced with a ceiling fan.
This is step 1!

The ceiling fan should not be too hard to install. You should be able to use the same bracket the light is hanging on and the instructions will show you which wires to hook together. Just shut the power off in that room. If you have a breaker box there should be a breaker for that room or area. I love to do wiring!

laurazone5 , I love the way the ceiling looks! What an interesting idea to paint it blue. I think it also takes the walls from neutral beige (or, as my son called it when I painted our mudroom and downstairs bathroom that color 16 years ago, "band-aid brown") to a warmer, cozy feel.

Before on top, after on bottom. Painted the ceiling in the closet blue this morning. I will practice clouds in the closet before I try the main room. Easier to hide, lol
