We had 66 degrees on Wed., Blizzard on TH and here it is 4:26 and my son & hubby went out to see if they could get out and go to work today. My hubby doesn't have to work he just thinks he needs to help my son. If they get out, it's a 20 mi drive into the city. Crazy weather!

High grey overcast and it took 24 hours to snow a skiff... Last night it snowed about 15cm (6") overnight. Wet and heavy. Still snowing now and forecast all of Tuesday and into Wednesday..
It will eventually start to break up as we seem to have gone from clear skies to high overcast and whip cream fog over the pond..

We're supposed to get at least a foot of snow today/tomorrow, after a gorgeous, 60 degree sunny Saturday. These annual mid to late April snowstorms have gotten really old. I mean, winter sports are over with by this time of year, so what do you do with a foot of snow? Nothing good. Heavy wet snow and 40+ mph winds make me very, VERY glad that a whole house generator was our first big purchase when we moved here. Because once again, we're going to lose some trees up here.

It is 70° at 8:45 pm. Winds out of SW. Got up to 82° today. A dry norther should be arriving any moment. Morning low should be 43° and afternoon high just 62°, but it will be sunny and clear so that is okay.

Today’s a weird day...60 outside, hard rain & 60 mph winds🌊and a tornado forecasted. We don’t have tornados here!

A tornado ran across the highway ten miles north of here early Sunday morning. It was quite rude to some travel trailers in an RV park (no serious injuries or deaths) but other than about a 60 to 80 yard swath of mostly naked tree trunks, there was no other visible damage.
If your weather people aren't any better predicting tornados than our weather people are predicting rain, you have little to worry about.

We've had lows around freezing for the past several days now, and highs only around 45 or so. Quite cold for mid-April...

Which hopefully will melt much of what remains from Sunday's unwanted 8" dump of snow.

We've been really cold with the wind chills, no snow since Tuesday, and we're expecting 50 to 60°F tomorrow but 33 mph gusts continuously during the day, and then pretty warm on Sunday.
