I have a red Brangus bull leased out to my neighbor, the bull bred his super baldy heifers in early September and two new babies are on the ground as of yesterday! Both are bull calves, and both were good low birth weight calves (my bull is huge, we were a bit concerned with him breeding fresh heifers). Here are his two boys...the little red calf with the bald face was born yesterday, the other one this past Sunday. Sorry for small pics, I don't know how to size them!

It was sometime in mid to late August I think that my bull went to stay at a ranch near us. May have been earlier, I don't remember. I just know I counted on my fingers and got May calves! They aren't mine, they belong to the man who is leasing my bull. I had it in my mind he said they all got bred in very early September, I am probably wrong.

Bandit eyes!
What kind of grass is that? You must be a tad bit south of us. You have seedies already.

We have had a lot of rain this spring, lots of rescue grass is up and very thick. We've mowed pastures twice already, both times grass was knee deep. We are in north central Texas, about 80 miles west of Dallas.

Nothing to be sorry for, I Turn a few cows sometimes when I have extra money and feed. There's a lot of various information spinning through my head that pops out at times.
