This is a homesteading forum, and I know that a lot of people are busy with their gardens, but I check in pretty much every day, and mostly all I see are Happy Birthday posts. If everyone doesn't participate with new questions, comments and topics, this forum is going to dwindle away.

True. Most of us have our homesteads where we want them. Oh sure, always tweaks and adjustments but IMHO, we aren't attracting those just starting or at work-in-progress stage. Not sure how to rectify this.

I've wondered why people aren't posting to forums, too. Forums that used to be very busy aren't anymore and I'm not sure why. Do you think if sub-forums like Daily Journal were gone, people would start posting more on the regular forums ?
Maybe people are just too busy to visit boards like this anymore.

There are some things I will only post in the Private Forums. Not a fan of people being able to look but not have a registration. I do get why we need to do it, though. |

I know that we, and it seems like Melissa, post a lot more on FaceBook. I think forums may be on their way out. snoozy, facebook isn't for everyone. Not everyone will feel comfortable posting posts like we post here. Walmart and Amazon are also not for everyone. Hopefully there will be lots of different platforms in the years to come.

Cabin Fever,. Jolly, I'm sure Facebook has a big effect on this forum and others. I know Facebook ruined one of my favorite forums on another site.
