Dehydrating homemade dog biscuits

Has anyone here dehydrated their homemade dog biscuits? How did they turn out? Have a recipe to share?

I'm planning on making some treats this weekend (peanut butter oatmeal) and thought this might help to extend their shelf life without having to freeze or refrigerate them.

I don't dehydrate, just bake mine longer at a lower temp. They stay good for a cpl weeks. Of course I keep my recipe pretty simple.
