Eau Claire has us beat, despite being south of us. I saw the winter storm warning yesterday for areas west of us. Our heavy wet slop is pretty compacted this morning, but it looked like around 3 or 4 inches on the deck before it stopped last night. It's sure feeling like winter lately - an early winter. What did I expect from 2020, though?

It's still in the 40's to 50's at night and 60-70 during the days. It's been pretty dismal and or raining for the past week these kind of days make me feel depressed...I need the sun!

We don't allow snow before Halloween. On Halloween happens, but not before!

We woke up to a powdering of snow this morning and the temp read 32.0F. Friday we are to get up to 4"of snow and following week we may not see 32F at all. It's a bit early for here in NE WA ST. It's now 43.9F and hubby is outside working in the sun
