I am trying to replace a kitchen faucet on an OLD enameled sink that has an upturned lip behind the escutcheon. I need an especially narrow (front to back) escutcheon for a three hole kitchen sink.
Help.

Take some measurements and head to Lowe's. (Or any good hardware store)

We tried that. We arenโt ignorant.
We need a source for replacing vintage plumbing.

Thank you for the link. I will search there.
The sink does have three holes, but the renter wants a taller arched faucet, and a single handle control. The escutcheon covers all the holes, but the water supply lines only go up to the faucet through the center hole.
We have now purchased two that have the problem that the depth (front edge to back edge measurement) is just enough too great that the escutcheon will not sit correctly over the holes and seal. The leading edge is pushed toward the sink by that raised lip of the sink itself.

I will get an exact measurement tomorrow. The renter has been wanting to deal with it herself.

I got back over to the house finally, and the front to back measurement is 2โ. ONLY.
So far, 2 3/8โ is the narrowest that I have found.
Heading back to search more.

We are pondering that, too. ๐

I don't know if this will help, but I replaced the faucet on our vintage clawfoot tub a while back. Being a man, I keep everything - even if its broke or doesnt work - just in case....
At any rate, that old faucet has a single hole escutcheon that you can have, if you think it will work for you. It is chrome. Dimensions are: 2"OD, 3/4"ID, approx. 1/8" height.

You are sweet!! I am pondering if the original faucet assembly can be dismantled, keep the part that works, put a new high rise faucet on the existing escutcheon.
