When I read your question, I thought I remembered The Frugal Girl making popovers in muffin tins. I looked it up on her site, and here's the link. I had planned to try them - popovers bring back memories of a restaurant called The Proud Popover that I went to with some family members back in the late 70's. I never did get around to making them but now that I've been reminded - I just might. link

well, that's a blast from the past for me. I used to make popovers when before kids. I never knew there was a special pan I always just used a pre-heated muffin pan, so probably a lot like Frugal Gal's recipe/process. I'll have to consider making them again, as long as I can time them for the dinner table as they come out of the oven.

I used to make them all the time and never had a popover pan, either. Like everyone else, I just used a muffin tin.
