I was born and raised on a farm just east of Yellowstone Park and have stayed connected to farm life my whole life. Now that I am retired, I hatch and raise chickens and help my sister take care of her Longhorn herd. We used to have milk cows all the time while growing up and generally had 4-6 milk cows. Now, I have inherited all Dad's milking equipment and am looking for a family or individuals who are interested in starting a small milk cow operation. I have the entire setup from the 220V Co-op Universal vacuum pump with all the pipes and valves, two 5 gallon stainless steel Co-op Universal milker units, and a complete Delaval electric cream separator eith all the parts, pieces, and tools. I also have all the factory manuals for each and every component in the collection. This equipment is circa 1950s and is in good serviceable condition. The hoses will need replaced as they have deteriorated while packed away in the shop. Universal still makes the hoses and nipples for these units. If anyone is interested, or you know someone interested in starting up a milk cow operation, I would love to see this setup serving another family.

It's so nice of you to want to pass that stuff on to another family. Good on you. And welcome!
