We are expecting a frost in our area tonight starting around midnight and lasting into the morning.
My plum tree has just finished flowering and I am wondering if this frost will completely destroy any chance of fruit developing? I have an apple that is just starting to flower and wonder the same thing? Will I have any fruit this year?

I think your plum will be okay ... the apples will be iffy.

If you could any way possible get an old bed sheet thrown up over trees that would help...

Thanks, to both of you.
Shellymay, that is just not possible. I did cover my strawberries, but the trees are just too big and I am too old.

I agree with Cyndi, the tree that finished flowering should be ok, and trees flowering are iffy.
