We are getting a portable shed delivered. What size boards would you get to lay on top of the gravel to place the building on under the skids? Specifically, the depth. 2 inch or 4 inch?

You don't list a general location, so it is hard to know if this will be next to a swamp or mountain top...
In our area.. If it comes with wood skids I would put down a 2x8x16" concrete cap block with a 2x8x16" board on top.. Three on each side for an 8x10, 10x16 size shed..
I also plan to put a shed on steel skids to use as storage and, or a summer kitchen for canning.. The steel skids will make it easier to move for winter using the tractor..
